Minnesota marks a special place where the most diverse cultures and ethnic groups may come together and share in the state’s abundant blessings.  This year’s Festival of Nations—to take place May 5 – 8 at   the RiverCentre in St. Paul—serves as the perfect venue to celebrate the world’s cultural diversity with   exhibits, food, music, and dance.  Deemed as “one of the top 200 events in America” by Discover America   and “top 100 events” by the American Business Association, the Festival of Nations is designed to bring   Americans of all backgrounds together—native and naturalized citizens alike—to share the ties with our   past and take pride in the richness of diverse cultures in our community.  This year’s theme focuses on Marketplaces of the World.”  As in past years, amongst 90 ethnic groups from around the world, the   Swiss Benevolent Society of St. Paul will be organizing and staffing the Swiss Café whereas the Twin   Cities Swiss American Association will be responsible for the Exhibit.  We always welcome volunteers at both the Café and the Exhibit.  Please reach out to us to let us know in what capacity you are willing to   serve!  This year we were able to reach and welcome a number of individuals who had not had any prior contact   with our organization.  Some have taken the rewarding step of becoming members.  Whether you are a   current member, a former member or someone interested in our association’s activities, may I kindly invite you to join us at one of our signature events?  Thanks again for your interest in the Twin Cities Swiss American Association!  I am looking forward to   hearing from you!  Respectfully, David David W. Mörker President – Twin Cities Swiss American Association Member – Council of the Swiss Abroad (www.aso.ch/en)
